How to Start a Return
Three simple steps — no hoops, no hassle
Email us or call
Send an email to hello@showerenvy.com with your order number and "Return" in the subject line. Or call us at +1 (833) 924-0099 during business hours. We'll respond within 24 hours.
Pack it up and ship it back
We'll email you our return address and any instructions. Use whatever shipping method is most convenient for you — USPS, UPS, FedEx, whatever works. We recommend using a trackable method so you can confirm delivery.
Refund hits your account
Once we receive the return, your refund is processed within 5–7 business days. You'll get an email confirmation when it's done. The refund goes back to your original payment method.
Real talk: We don't make you jump through hoops. No "escalation teams," no guilt trips, no trying to talk you out of it. If you want a refund, you get a refund. Period.
Refund Details
Exactly what you'll get back
Full product refund: You'll receive 100% of the purchase price back (excluding any original shipping charges on orders that didn't qualify for free shipping).
Refund timeline: Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive the returned item. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Original payment method: Refunds always go back to the payment method you used. Credit card → credit card. PayPal → PayPal. No exceptions — this protects you.
Partial use is fine: Used the showerhead for 3 weeks? That's exactly what we want. You can return a used 2.0 Handheld within 60 days or a used 5.0 Stationary within 90 days, and still receive a full refund.
For the 5.0 Stationary specifically: We strongly encourage you to use it for at least 8 weeks before deciding. The 15-stage filtration creates cumulative benefits that build over time. Many customers who were unsure at week 4 became enthusiastic fans by week 10. That's why we give you a full 90 days.
Bundles & Multi-Packs
Flexible returns even on multi-unit orders
Two-Bathroom Kit / Whole Home Kit: You can return individual units from a bundle. If you love the one in your master bath but don't need the guest bathroom unit, return just that one.
The refund will be calculated proportionally based on the per-unit price in the bundle. For example, if you bought the Two-Bathroom Kit ($153 for 2 units) and return one, you'll receive $76.50 back.
The return window follows the product type: 60 days for each 2.0 Handheld in the bundle, 90 days for each 5.0 Stationary.
Subscription Filters
Complete control, always
Cancel anytime: Your filter subscription has no contract, no penalty, and no minimum commitment. Cancel with one click in your account or by emailing us.
Skip or pause: Going on vacation? Stocked up? Just pause your subscription for up to 6 months or skip the next shipment.
7-day advance notice: We always email you 7 days before processing your next subscription order. This gives you time to skip, pause, or cancel if you want.
Annual prepay refunds: If you chose the Annual Prepay option and want to cancel, we'll refund you for any unshipped filters on a prorated basis. For instance, if you've received 1 of 2 filters, we'll refund half.
Replacement Filters
Fair and straightforward
Unopened filters: Return within 30 days for a full refund. Must be in original sealed packaging.
Opened/installed filters: Because filters are a hygiene product that comes into direct contact with water, we cannot accept returns on opened or installed filters. This is an industry-standard health and safety practice.
Defective filters: If a filter arrives damaged or defective, we'll replace it free of charge — no return needed. Just email us a photo of the damage and we'll ship a replacement immediately.
This applies to both products: Whether you're using the 3-stage filter for the 2.0 Handheld or the 15-stage filter for the 5.0 Stationary, the filter return policy is the same. 30 days unopened, free replacement for defects.
Damaged or Defective Items
We make it right immediately
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with missing components, here's what happens:
- Email us a photo of the damage to hello@showerenvy.com
- We ship a replacement within 24 hours — no need to return the damaged item first
- If you prefer a refund instead of a replacement, we'll process it immediately
- We cover all shipping costs for replacements due to damage
This applies to both the 2.0 Handheld and 5.0 Stationary, as well as all accessories, filters, and kits.
Please report damage within 48 hours of delivery if possible. This helps us file claims with shipping carriers on your behalf. However, we'll work with you even if you notice damage later.
Exchanges
Got the wrong style or finish?
Style exchanges (Fixed Mount ↔ Handheld): Happy to exchange within the return window for your product. We'll ship the new style as soon as your return is on the way.
Finish exchanges (Chrome / Brushed Nickel / Matte Black): Same process — exchange within the return window, new finish ships promptly.
Product upgrades (2.0 → 5.0): Want to upgrade from the 2.0 Handheld to the 5.0 Stationary? We'll credit your original purchase price toward the upgrade. Just pay the difference.
Product downgrades (5.0 → 2.0): We'll exchange it and refund the price difference to your original payment method.
Gift Returns
Gifts should bring joy, not stress
Gift recipients can return items within the same guarantee window (60 days for 2.0, 90 days for 5.0) for a store credit or exchange. We'll never reveal the purchase price to the gift recipient.
Gift card refunds: Digital gift cards are non-refundable once sent but never expire. If you haven't sent a gift card yet, we can refund or cancel it.
Gift purchasers can request a direct refund to their payment method — just include your order number when contacting us.
What We Cannot Accept
A few reasonable exceptions
In the interest of hygiene and fairness, we cannot process returns on:
- Opened or installed replacement filters (hygiene/health reason)
- Items returned after the guarantee window (60 days for 2.0, 90 days for 5.0) without prior arrangement
- Items purchased from unauthorized resellers (we can only guarantee products bought from showerenvy.com)
- Items that have been intentionally damaged or modified beyond normal use
If you're outside the window but have extenuating circumstances, email us anyway. We're real people and we genuinely want to help.
